Local artist Mab Graves may just be looking at her breakout year. She has shows in Indy and New York; last fall, as the winner of the Art vs. Art competition, where she and an audience gleefully watched a chainsaw destroy her bride of Frankenstein painting — all in the name of charity. She describes her new exhibit, “Adventures,” as “fairytale told in paintings,” spanning 20-some panels, along with illustrations and paper dolls. It will be shown in tandem with “The Super Show,” her traveling Super Girl show.
Details: Opening reception 6 to 10 p.m. Sept. 3 (show through Sept. 28), Harrison Center for the Arts, 1505 N. Delaware St., (317) 396-3886.
